Celebrate a Vegan Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here! Not a good time to be a turkey. Around 300 million turkeys are killed during the winter months in America, poor turkeys. From the time they hatch, until the time they end up on dinner tables across the nation, these birds are horribly abused. They spend their short time on Earth cramped in large sheds with barely enough room to stretch their wings. When, inevitably they end up at the slaughterhouse, workers show little regard for their welfare, throwing them around, they are stepped on, and just treated in the most horrific way.

So, how do you celebrate Thanksgiving without the bird?

Here are some tasty Vegan Recipes from the Veg Kitchen

Give thanks without the dead bird centerpiece, the turkeys thank you.
